Our Winery themed "Wear Your Heart" brooches are beautifully crafted papercasts that are hand-painted and gilded. The papercasts are pulled from our collection of over 500 heritage European baking molds. Our Winery & Vineyard assortment has a great variety of images and colour treatments.
Brooches are approx. 1" to 2" in size. Once molded, the paperclay (recycled paper) is dried to form a stiff, durable and beautifully detailed piece. We coat them in a high-resin (non-tacky) beeswax for long-lasting wear.
Small button magnets secured to the back let you wear the brooch without pinning your fabric. Just place the thin magnetic backing piece inside your blouse, scarf, etc., and the brooch on the other side, and viola! Magnets hold the brooch very securely. (And yes, we also use them as fridge magnets!)
Brooches are individually packaged in a cello bag with header label and magnet instructions on the back. (Some packages feature two small brooches (see pix).
